“The important question is just how much is it going to cost me?”

It’s entirely possible that this process will not cost you a penny. We are offering free like-for-like upgrades across all the suite of products, free like-for-like data conversion and free online compliance software training for the first six months. Of course, there’s every chance that once you see the new suite of products you may want buy more, but that’s completely up to you!

“I’d like to have a say in the process, as it directly affects me. What opportunities are there for me to feedback my suggestions and concerns to you?”

There will be many opportunities for you to help shape the future of CCH software. The first and most important is the “The Way Forward” Roadshows in October and November. This provides a unique forum for you to both find answers to your questions and speak to Product Managers, Developers and senior management who are all shaping the future product suite of CCH software. You can also contact your local Account Manager. If you haven’t already heard from them, you should do soon, but feel free to contact them with any questions or suggestions.

Finally, there will be an ongoing programme of focus groups to gather client feedback across all the products. We will be sending out information about these in the future, and if you would like to take part we would welcome your contributions.

“When will I be expected to upgrade my software? I’ve only just installed the latest version?”

With the new Roadmap, our main concern is ensuring that the process is as seamless as possible for both CCH and MYOB clients. With this in mind we will provide ongoing support for the existing product ranges for as long as it is required by our client base, although we expect demand for the new product suite to be high and would advise people to look at upgrading sooner rather than later.

“Every time I’ve moved from one piece of software to another I’ve lost valuable business time and, more importantly, client data. What is being done to avoid this?”

We’re well aware that this is a common problem that’s encountered when transferring between rival platforms, and we’re dedicated to ensuring that this isn’t a problem that you will have to go through when upgrading to the new suite.
